About Finance Arabia
Finance Arabia helps people in the Gulf make better money decisions. We started as an Arabic-language finance site, and our English edition brings the same tools and guides to the millions of expats and residents who live, work and invest in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
What we do
- Free financial calculators built on Gulf rules — end-of-service gratuity under each country's labour law, GOSI deductions, debt burden ratio limits, zakat with a live gold nisab, VAT at local rates and more.
- Live market tools — today's gold rate per gram in every karat and a currency converter that covers the currencies people actually send money home in.
- Comparisons and reviews of banks, trading platforms, apps and tech, written to answer one question: is this right for you?
How we work
- Facts first. Our calculators follow the published text of the law or regulator rules, and our articles use official sources — company announcements, central bank rules and official price lists. We say when something is an estimate.
- Independent opinions. No company pays for a review or a better score. If we ever earn a commission from a link, we will say so clearly on the page.
- Written for real life here. We think about rent cheques, school fees, remittances, eSIM-only phones and the questions people in the Gulf actually ask.
- Your data stays yours. Calculators run in your browser; we don't ask you to sign up and we don't store what you type into them.
Important
Everything on Finance Arabia is for general information and education. It isn't personal financial, legal or investment advice. Rules, prices and fees change — always confirm the latest details with your employer, bank, provider or a licensed adviser before making a decision.
